At JOLEE HOME, we ship our curated hardware to customers worldwide. While we strive to make the delivery process as smooth as possible, international shipments may be subject to customs fees and import duties defined by the destination country.
1. Customs Duties & Taxes
Please note that import duties, taxes, and related customs fees are NOT included in the product price or shipping cost displayed at checkout.
- Customer Responsibility: As the importer of record, you (the customer) are responsible for paying any applicable import duties and taxes charged by your local customs authority.
- Payment: These fees are typically collected by the carrier (e.g., FedEx, UPS, DHL, or USPS) upon delivery or prior to the release of the package.
2. For Customers in the United States
Good News: Currently, the United States has a "De Minimis" threshold of $800 USD. This means that if your total order value is less than $800, you will generally NOT be charged any import duties or taxes.

3. For International Customers (Non-US)
If you are shipping to Canada, Europe, the UK, or other international destinations, your order may be subject to VAT (Value Added Tax) and customs duties upon arrival. These limits vary strictly by country.
We recommend checking with your local customs office for specific information before placing an order to avoid unexpected charges.
4. Refusal of Package
If a package is refused by the customer due to unpaid customs duties or taxes:
- The package will be returned to our warehouse.
- Refund Policy: We will refund the cost of the products minus the original shipping charges and any return shipping fees assessed by the carrier.
- If the cost of returning the package exceeds the value of the goods, the package may be abandoned, and no refund will be issued.
5. Customs Delays
While we provide estimated delivery times, JOLEE HOME cannot be held responsible for delays caused by customs clearance processes. These delays are beyond our control and do not influence the shipping costs paid.
